My 2nd STAPLE PRODUCT |

I have 3c-4a highly porous super coarse thick curly hair. Think somalian curls for this afro carribean. I hate having to rewet my hair just to get tangles out.I just dab some ghee on my index and thumb fingers and rub on any knots and they literally melt away and here comes a defined curl. I actually like that it just detangles so that when I put the burdock root or amla heavy cream whichever one I'm feeling for that day; my hair isn't in product overload. B/c the amla heavy cream and the burdock root cream are so moisturizing ; the ghee melts knots away without leaving the hair greasy or dry. It equals out the amla heavy cream and the burdock root buttercream since you don't need any more moisture or oil in addition to the amla heavy cream or burdock root buttercream. It smells like hersheys chocolate even though it is lightly scented. I'm in love. Don't ever discontinue this product QHEMET! I might have to camp outside like the tea party and demand you bring back lol.

The shipping on this product was excellent arrived in 1 week so I was pleased with that. The smell is foreign on first take but after a few more wiffs it sort of smells like chocolate. Not heavy at all. I have mostly relaxed hair and am going natural and this product was not a great detangler but it was just an OK detangler. I have used better but again, it could be due to my mostly relaxed hair. I will use on my daughter who is chemical free and then get a better gage. I will not be giving it away and plan to keep it and try it again since I only ordered a 2 ounce container.

Great company and a miracle product |

So I ordered this product online, but before shipping Qhemet customer service personally contacted me to let me know that there is a local retail location for their products and asked if I preferred to get it there instead of paying for shipping. Of course! I hate waiting for products I really want to try. But that is what I call outstanding customer service. They really care about their customers and it shows in the integrity of their products as well. This stuff is like a dream. I'm often disappointed when I read raving reviews and then the products do nothing for my -3c on top 4a/b in the middle and back- hair. THIS PRODUCT WORKS. Period. Even the girl at the retail location ringing me out started raving about it while I was buying it. I just found my first staple! Love it...Love the company. Thank you Qhemet!

Great Stuff |

I started using the shampoo and the AOHC. Then I ordered some of the Cocoa detangling ghee which I think is the best product I have ever used on my hair. Then I ordered the Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm, which is a fabulous product but not real effective by itself. I got the bright idea to put a teaspoon of the Olive Honey in about a cup and a half of DISTILLED water with 2 fingers of the Cocoa Detangling Creme. It worked like magic and can be used everyday without making hair dripping wet. It can also be used at night to twist or style as you wish. Just wanted to share my discovery because it works wonderfully.

This detangles my hair really well and I love the smell of it. I am 4a/4b/4c. I bought a sample size but will definitely invest in the larger jar.
