best gel ever
August 30, 2010
Reviewer: aclectic from omaha, NE United States
I hate gels on my hair, but this one is The One. I did a two strand twist on straightened hair which is hard for them to stay together without something heavy on them. this gel is perfectly light and holds wonderfully!!! I'm having a natural hair meetup and will be telling all my friends who do twists to get this gel!!!!

I used this gel for the first time 2 days after receiving it to do a braid out. BEST braid out ever. My hair was soft and my curls were so defined. I love this gel.

Awesome product, awesome results!

I LOVE this stuff!! I first received a sample from a workshop I attended and I used it to create two strand twists. I HAD to purchase it along with the Amla & Olive Oil Heavy Cream. I will never use another styling gel. It's not drying at all like most gels tend to be. My twists were so awesome, even my 16yr old son commented on it. Now he wants to dip into MY products to use on his hair....NOT!! I'll have to get him his own. I'm also glad a local retailer carries it.

Best gel ever!

Awesome gel! It does just what the description says. I hate hard and flaky gel and this was totally the opposite. It's very soft and moisturizes the hair. Doesn't even seem like gel. I also mixed it with the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream to twist my hair and my twists came out very soft and bouncy.

This is the best for soft hold and moisturizing!

My hair loves, loves, loves, loves, loves this stuff. I use it in conjunction with the Amla and Olive oil cream and rollerset my hair after a wash & condition and I'm telling you my hair is soft and bouncy and the curls last about 3-4 days depending on how diligent I am. And I don't have to add any more product afterwards. I am in love with this. I'm so glad I found a store locally that sells the stuff! My only request would be that if they could make a bigger jar because I pretty much use the entire sample size of 2 oz. in one application.

great for curls!

I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of hold, but I wasn't disappointed. I wear a wash & go, and my curls were well-defined and soft with this gel. There was no flaking and it was moisturizing too! Qhemet products are the best for moisturizing kinky/curly hair. Thanks Qhemet!

Finally a gel that doens't flake

Reviewer: Tina from Alexandria, LA United States
This gel fits the product description to a tee. It really does not stiffen or flake. It just provides a light natural hold. I love it for my edges and baby hair. I also use a little to keep my twists from unraveling. I love the light citrus scent. Thanks Qhemet.

Does exactly what it promises

My hair LOVES this stuff! With a shoulder length natural (when stretched to its full length) finding something that works is difficult. This is the first product that makes my twists flexible and gives them body. It also made my natural and twist out full of body and soft to the touch. Other gels give hold, but they flake and make your hair hard. Not this one.

Not that great as a gel
March 10, 2010
Reviewer: Britanny from tallahassee, FL United States
I bought this product in hopes of it being a lighter alternative to the eco styler gel that I use but it doesnt have any hold...I think it would have been better if it were a lil more waxy or pomade-ish..but the viscosity of it is sort of runny... It does a decent job as a moisturizing curl enhancer on damp hair, though...just not what I expected.

Superstar of moisturizers
December 19, 2009
Reviewer: Lovin' my curls from Washington, DC United States
I have super thick 3c-4a-4b hair. It's shoulder length, but growing fast thanks to Qhemet products. Let's cut to the chase...this product is single-handedly the most moisturizing product in the Qhemet, and other natural product lines, for my hair. It leaves my fluffy hair with curl definition, bouncing locks, and incredible shine. I was leery of my hypothesis until I experimented for a few weeks, and got consistent results using this as my base product before applying another all-natural aloe-based curl gel. IMHO this gel enhances moisture retention for the most spectacular curl looks. I am running low and will conserve in order to save up for my debut in a big UN meeting. Next time around I am ordering a least 2; one for home, one for the office. Hint to newbies: place order for your favorite Qhemet products when the present container is half full. Once you're hooked, you don't want to be stuck without them.
