Expect slight variations in texture between batches as this is a natural product. This product is a stiff cream, however, if stored above room temperature or in a very warm environment for an extended period of time, the consistency may thin and become fluid. The stiff consistency is best maintained when stored in a cool environment or in a refrigerator.

5 of 5 This should be a mandatory staple for every 4type! June 23, 2019
Reviewer: BG from Houston TX
I first used this cream back in 2011 since when people went natural this was the Holy Grail product. I admit, the price did make me want to reconsider finding cheaper alternatives, especially when it went up, but I always found myself coming back to this cream! The ingredients are perfect for my low porosity hair type 4, and I never found it to be too heavy or greasy! The price for this is worth it to have soft/moisturized hair that works will with other products if one wants to use a gel on top of this! I also noticed that it is definitely softening up my hair, especially at the roots!

Its official QB, I'am not running away anymore and I am here to stay!
Please continue to make these great products=)

5 of 5 Excellent (even with synthetic hair) April 27, 2019
Reviewer: RoJo from Pembroke Pines, FL
I find that due to my heavy-handed use, the product makes my hair oily. But I combat the oiliness by using the Kinky Curly Curling Custard over it, and braiding my hair until it's dry. Once I unravel my hair, it stays moisturized and supple for up to 5 days. I have type 4a-c, kinky-coily hair.
I've also used this on my box braids - I would spray braids and scalp with water, oil scalp with castor & moringa serum, and use the amla & olive cream on the length of hair that is plaited in the extension. When I removed my braids after 2 months, I was able to wear my unwashed hair for an additional week without it looking unkempt or having an odor.

5 of 5 My Saving Grace! Fortified Moisture!! March 8, 2019
Reviewer: Eb from Baltimore
I absolutely LOVE this product for how long it keeps my curls feeling moisturized. I have used a few creams that work well, and some even hold up during winter, but NOTHING like this heavy cream. I live in Maryland and the winters here are truly cold. Beyond the temperatures, is the relentlessness wind. Despite 60-75mph freezing winds, my hair was LIVING. My hair was soft and wonderful for 10 days before I finally stopped postponing wash day and washed it. I had to keep my hands out of it. I have 4A thick fine low porosity hair. Yes, the cream is heavy and weighs on my hair but in a good way. It provides a medium hold for me, and once dry my curls have life, movement, and freedom with unbelievable moisture. A little goes a long way. I highly recommend it as a winter product and I can't wait to try it in the summer!

5 of 5 Simply Amazing!!! February 11, 2019
Reviewer: Jennifer from Houston, TX United States
I have high porosity hair, and soaking up products is what my hair does. Holding onto moisture is truly a challenge for me, but this is the first cream I have applied to my hair that stays in my hair long enough where I do not need to reapply it the next day. The incredible shine I also receive from this cream is amazing. Also, my hair feels so soft, that it feels like the softest wool to ever exist in nature. I LOVE IT! The smell is soothing and relaxing. I have not tried a cream like this ever before (and I have tried many-too many), and there is no turning back for me now. This cream has been officially incorporated into my hair routine. Thank you, Qhemet, for creating a product that can FINALLY combat dryness, and add shine to high porosity hair. I have yet to find a product that can do that for my frizz-prone, dry-looking and feeling hair; but that search is now over. Thank you, once again, Qhemet Biologics!

5 of 5 Keeps my gray hair moisturizes and ends from snapp May 26, 2018
Reviewer: Suburbanbushbabe from Chestnut Hill, MA United States
The Qhemet products in regular rotation are Amla and Olive HC and Aethiopika.. My hair is 95% gray, high porosity, 4a coils and s-curls, and gets thinner every year I age (mid-sixties now). Enhancing volume, keeping my ends from snapping, whilst retaining curl pattern over several days is key..

My routine is: nopoo cleansimg conditioner, detangling, deep moisturizing conditioner to finger detangle, a tsp of castor and argan oil, wait then rinse.

Now for the Amla heavy cream moisture barrier!. I mix in wet palms with and scrunch about a Tbs into my wet hair, with the styling conditioner over that. Big twists for ~ hour (shrinkage deterrence). Then undo, add gel and style. This works every time, 100% of the time. Spritzing and restyling midweek is easy.

I mostly use the water soluble Aethiopika butter for overnight twists on 3 or 4 day hair. It gives me smooth twist outs, and removes any tangles from my ends with just spritzes of water.

Just wish this came in a tube!
